Communications Manager, PR & AR (Contract) - USA Based (Remote)

Hours: Part-time, up to 10 hours per week (6-month contract)
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Communications Contractor to assist our Head of Marketing with public relations (PR) and analyst relations (AR) activities. This role is ideal for a proactive communicator who is adept at managing diverse tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Public Relations: Assist with the execution of our PR strategies. Draft press releases, media briefs, and other communication materials. Develop stories and bylines for thought leadership pieces. Help build relationships with key media personnel and arrange interviews.
- Analyst Relations: Support the execution of our AR strategy. Assist in preparing briefings and presentations for industry analysts. Coordinate meetings and follow-up activities with analysts to enhance our visibility and influence in the industry.
- Content Creation: Collaborate on content development for various platforms including social media, newsletters, and our website to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and analyst reports, providing regular updates to the marketing team on both quantitative and qualitative outcomes.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the organization of press and analyst meetings, including logistics, invitations, and content preparation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience in PR and/or AR roles, preferably in a cybersecurity company or an agency cybersecurity practice.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling content.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and media/analysts.
- Knowledge of the latest cybersecurity industry trends and techniques in public relations and analyst relations.
Customer Success Engineer - USA Based (Remote)
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, addressing any technical concerns or challenges they face with the SaaS product.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs and tailor solutions using the product.
- Conduct product demos and training sessions to onboard new customers and enhance the product knowledge of existing users.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, liaise with the product development team for complex challenges, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor customer usage and health metrics to identify potential areas of concern or opportunities for upselling and product expansion.
- Gather customer feedback on product features and functionality, and communicate this to the product and development teams.
- Stay updated with the latest product updates and features to provide accurate and up-to-date support.
- Develop technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to aid customers in self-service.
- Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences from pre-sales to post-sales support.

This role is essential for developing technical content and tools that effectively communicate the value of our products to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and product overviews for use in sales meetings, customer visits, and trade shows.

- Deep understanding of the rules, laws and regulations, as well as cybersecurity frameworks that impact customers’ cybersecurity strategies and decision making.
- Proven ability to create and present technical content that engages and informs diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- We do not require a college degree if your life and work experience is commensurate with having a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Veterans with a cybersecurity background and passion for sales and marketing are strongly encouraged to apply.
